conflicted feelings!!!!

GUYS, Himitsu no Arashi-chan this week had Arashi living together in a house?!?! WHO AUTHORIZED THIS AND WHY WASN'T I CONSULTED?!?!?!?!?!?! okay no of course i wouldn't be consulted that is ridiculous, i feel ridiculous

SO THE THING IS that I'm writing a huge story now where Arashi lives in a house together (mentioned in the previous post)...

WHAT DO I DO WITH THIS NEW INFORMATION? I'm only like 2/3 finished the fic!! D:

My fear is that if I watch the episode (and come on, now I have to watch it), I'll have to change huge parts of my fic because my characterization isn't right (and come on, it won't be, because fic Arashi in a house vs ACTUAL ARASHI in a house?!?! what is even the contest here). I'm in favour of improving stories to fit characterizations but guys I worked so hard on this one, I really don't want to up and rewrite the whole thing. T_____T i'm actually distraught right now

WHAT SHOULD I DO:
a) post one part of it RIGHT NOW
b) wait till I finish to post all of it, but DO NOT WATCH THE EPISODE
c) wait till I finish to post all of it, and WATCH THE EPISODE, and fix what needs to be fixed
d) curl up in a ball and cry a bit
e) this is not a big deal, you are crazy

Opinions about the state of my life please!!

EDIT: okay so i'm watching the episode now unsubbed but it's only Nino, Jun and a guest (I love Ueto Aya, she is goooorgeous) so that is not...as bad as I'd thought? Bad, as in, "toppling the Jenga game of my fic TO THE GROUND." Okay, um. Yeah, I will still need to think on things.

And your suggestion is a great, fantastic, amazing idea. I've only started watching the first bit of the show, and I might stop, since I'm not understanding much anyway. I just got to the part where they drank Aiba's disgusting juice. (What was it, btw?)

I'm really considering posting part 1 of my fic, though, just because it would force me to post the rest of it sooner rather than later. I don't know when this segment is going to be retired... it might go on for at least a month, right? And I don't want to wait until the segment is over to edit everything. /o\

This comment is the best, just the best. This encouragement is really helping, you have no idea. The last time I posted a fic that was based on canon (which idek can properly describe fic in Arashi fandom) during the hiatus of a show, I didn't finish before the show came back on and then, obviously, my headcanon was ruined utterly. It wasn't that I was expecting what I imagined to happen on the show, but I totally lost motivation because the show just -- was there, you know? It was like, what's the point of this fic then? This was a long time ago, and I'd just started writing fic, so I was more easily discouraged, haha. Anyway, this fic is for someone else, so I have to post it anyway, but there's always that lingering fear of losing motivation :(

But the other thing I don't like doing is posting an unfinished fic, so................... :|

You are just the sweetest, most nicest ever :'( I refuse to take time away from your finals studying (...she says as she lures you into a conversation on LJ...) but I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have your input on the story sometime. When you're done exams! I think I will actually post part 1 up, but my friend lysanderpuck already gave a look-see on that part, so. Part 1 was easiest for me to write though, so it's the next few (2? 3?) parts that I would really like other people to tell me what works and what doesn't. Do you have an email I can reach you at?

OKAY SHUT UP THAT STORY IS SO CUTE! Also that picture of Sho is unbelievably hot?!?!? I had to fan myself, and I'm actually freezing right now. I don't have an inspiration folder of pictures, though that's a great idea, but I think I get most of my writing mojo from reading other people's works, fics or novels. I'm not good at doing either of those things these days because of school and the black hole known as tumblr, but I'm really pushing myself to read more these days. I come across a really talented author's work and I'm like, "HOLY SHIT how did he/she do this, what on earth, how does writing work, what is brain," and that eggs me on to do better. Or, alternatively, I very occasionally come across a really bad fic and I'm like, "WOW this is so horrendous it's amazing; I can do so much better," and it's sort of like an ego boost, hahaha.................. wow i'm a dick but whatever

Massiel is so great! So so thankful I met her on LJ. Her emails always make me smile like a crazy person.
